U have been ACTIVATED XD

My U-Mobile number have finally been activated last week and quickly transfered to Hotlink :p All i wanted was the prefix number and of course the chosen number with my birthday in it. This evening i sent out more than 100 sms notifications to those in my phone book. Hopefully it covered everyone who is interested.

Tomorrow i will be officially using the 018 number :) Must be more careful when making calls now, its a prepaid and on my own tabs whereas the current line can be claimed from the company. Although it can be claimed i don't like the notion that i am not able to make full use of the quota and every month paying close to RM90 and using less than 1/3 of that amount.

With prepaid, i used to just use around RM60 for 2 months and sometimes even at that i am not able to use RM60 worth of calls or sms :p Although nowadays i make more calls via my mobile instead of using the office phone all the time, still i cannot reach the RM90 monthly quota.

The ulterior motive behind this move was not achieved again so unfortunately i have to deviate from the plan :( Alot of effort was done to try to move but luck do not seem to favour me so i am again stuck where i am. Sigh.

"WAH, you look thinner liao!"

My colleagues from other floors whom i have not bumped into would mention this every time i bumped into them either on my way for meetings or going to another floor. Even my ex-boss also claimed that i looked thinner. I don't know how true is this because i really don't feel any thinner that i was when 6 months ago. Although my weight had supposed went down but when i see my belly its still the same size :(

Vendors whom i have dealt with in the past also claimed the same thing when they see me in meetings. I can't take them seriously as they would want to say only good things to maintain the relationship.

My female colleagues would also get the same kind of comments when vendors come and visit them. 1 of which is getting married soon and had been on a strict diet for like a year already, the other who just came back from Singapore after a major operation so no surprise on her part that she is skinnier as compared to 3 months ago.

Perhaps what is suggested by my colleague would quite logical whereby the team have been under stress due to lack of manpower and a power hungry boss trying to show "his" capability by giving the team more work which basically do not fall under our jurisdiction. Well he got his higher position and most of the team are now in limbo as the new management is quite clueless in the importance of our role.

In the end, i know that im lighter as the weighing machines do show that i have lost weight though not as much as i had wanted as per my wishlist but its a start :) Physical appearance wise, i don't think it has improved as the way i wanted it of which i do not expect to be having a six pack without really doing some targeted workouts in that area. Would be looking forward to a flatter tummy as the weight keeps on dropping :D

My very own HTC Touch 3G

After weeks of comparing, consideration and searching, i finally bought a HTC Touch 3G. Though not a completely new phone but it does have ample warranty left versus the price i paid :) Most would say that i got a bargain. It was within my set budget and the warranty left appealed to me so that's why its in my hands now XD

Though its not a so-called high end phone but its a whole lot different from my previous phones and sometimes i struggled to find or do what i wanted to. Since my colleague have 2 HTC 3G (1 for himself, the other for his "wife"), so being the n00b that i am, i requested help from him to get my phone up to speed with the good softwares and/or settings. But since everyone have their own preferences, i did my own customization after his efforts.

First hurdle was the contact list XD On my first day, i struggle to get past the first few contacts to find the person i wanted to call ... Would be very frustrating if it were an urgent or emergency. But hey im still finding my way around with this new phone.

The main reason that i got this phone was for the GPS, being clueless of locations especially those in PJ, it would be of great help to have some guidance if i did not do my research on the place i wanted to go. It can sometimes be such a hassle to ask others and what makes things worse is that i have not much info on the landmarks there and would be fully dependent on the person i ask for those clues to find the place.

With most of my friends owning a high tech gadget cum phone, i would like to join the group as well albeit not being too knowledgeable in this field. Well this is something which can be picked up so not much worries there.

I think i will need quite some time before i am able to fully grasp what i can or cannot do with this new phone :) For the time being, i am totally dependent on the people who own these kind of gadgets to guide me XD
