Happy New Year?

Well it started off pretty well you can say because there is a lookout area near my house where I can watch fireworks display happening downtown from the comfort of my residential area. Some rich people also had their own fireworks display just behind where I was standing so we just watched others burn their money :)

Felt quite worried that I may not be able to settle quite a large sum of hospital bill which would really have sucked me dry. Now that that's been taken care off, I can breathe a sigh of relief and plan my next course of action though the sum is unfortunately not enough to put air-cond into the room which we had planned.

Unable to comfort a friend who just broke up but he seems to be doing pretty well. A little sad for them because they do seem to be quite good together.

More and more colleagues cum friends managed to find greener pasturesbetter paying jobs. Submitted to more headhunters and other job portals but to no avail still. Almost feels like I will be stuck forever :(

Become "heng dai" for another friend as he got married. Surprisingly, I would rate this operation the easiest of all that I have participated before. 1 spicy meal, 1 bucket of ice cold water, some fairly easy games of makeup and dress up + performance, sung a nursery song and an easy rush into the bride's room when the not-so-intelligent "ji mui" opened the door XD Revenge for the somewhat despicable "ji mui"s was that we dumped them at my friend's place for them to go back by themselves LOLz. Lost my voice at his wedding dinner, confirmed that I really cannot drink as 1cm of Chivas took me more than 2 hours to finish and feeling woozy not long after probably because I had only around 4 hours of sleep.
