Everything wants a holiday. :x

What i meant was at the beginning of today, all of my system's servers were acting up on us. ALL of them failed to work with each other and after many reboots of various machines and more than 2 hours of calling this and that fella, we finally got the system up and running. Just in time for the big boss to make more money, buy shares.

I was thinking to myself, is it because of the holiday season that everything needs a break? The servers just refuse to work for more than 2 hours. Our frantic calls for the people how can help us reboot the server were mostly on leave. Specialists for DB2 MC today. Great what a crisis a day before a substantially longer weekend because of Christmas.

Perhaps i too need to take a leave but there are so many things that need to completed. Some of which were given almost last minute notices :x
"This is wanted by 1/1/2007" when its already 18/12/2006, though the task seems quite simple but with so little notice there is almost no margin for error plus there is a habit by users where they like to change their mind almost at the very last minute again like yesterday, i was told that they want to add more things and have more checkings.

Since most of my colleagues have already booked the end of the year for their leaves therefore i have to be guards until next year. So hopefully i will be able to find a day next year to rest my burning out blain ............

But one thing is for sure, im gonna take a long CNY holiday :p
