I saw Paul Scholes in person! <3

Although you can call me avid fan of Man Utd but this is the first time i have actually bought tickets to go and watch their match. They have visited Malaysia several times but i did not go watch them due to financial reasons. This time its a bit different, although again i don't really the money BUT i must see for myself Paul Scholes in person before he retires, so when my friend asked me if i wanted to go watch, although hesitantly, i agreed to part with RM98 :p

I got these :

RM98 = 1 cardboard, 1 landyard and 1 piece of paper with some stickers on the wrong side.

While the cardboard is the ticket to enter the training session :p

I went for the training session and although i still had some unfinished work, i had to leave office almost on time and headed to the Bukit Jalil stadium. From the LRT station near my office, there were already several fans on board heading the same direction i was. More and more came on as we go by the stops. There was a distinct group from Penang, i reckon due to their Hokkien slang as they chatted away while the train speeds off nearer and nearer to our destination.

The crowd at the outside of the stadium was crazy, a red tide of fans all walking towards the entrance. All the merchandise booth were flooded with mobs of enthusiatic fans snatching up items. I wanted to have a look but the scheduled training time was about to start so i decided otherwise. From the entrance gates, cheers could be heard, luckily for me it was just some local players training in the field instead of Man Utd.

I hastily made my way in as the cheers got louder and louder fearing that i was late. I had 2 goals, 1 to check out the place where we may be seated the next day and to finally get a chance to catch a glimpse of Paul Scholes in action. Since i was alone, i could easily choose empty seats which were quite rare and i was about the 15th row on tier 2 :(

I sat on the second tier purple area to watch the training :(

My not so powderful camera helped me get a closer view of the players as they made their way out onto the field to train and kick a few balls around.

Though i was damn tired from rushing there right after work and 2 consecutive night of overtime before today, it was a great way to start the weekend to see Paul Scholes and Manchester United in Malaysia!
