Some thinking over the weekend ...

On Saturday while driving to return some goods, there was a program that was doing an interview on a supposed local rising star. She was asked a question regarding relationship. So the famous saying came up, "Why give up an entire forest for a tree?" or if you are a person looking from the other side of the mirror, "When would the correct tree be found or show up?"

The first saying i have heard about it alot but the second one, i have not heard before. That got a ball rolling in my mind.

When is the correct time?
There is actually never a fixed age, well maybe with the exception of M-s whereby its somewhere around 27. Modern people would tend to be more guided by their monetary plan, how much to have before they tie the knot. Must have at least a home, car and 50k cash etc etc etc. If you followed your heart, it might have been when you are just 17/18 years old?

Where is the balance? Usually associated with another saying, "Ride a cow to find a horse"
It is almost impossible to find a perfect someone. The most is that you may find someone similar to your dream guy/girl either physically or traits, rarely both. So, let's say you found someone who is 70% of what you consider as a perfect match, is that good enough? 3-4 years into the relationship you found someone who is 80% match, what would you do? And then a 90%? The thing with this issue is that when would this person come along and what are the chances of you meeting this person? Even so, would you be that person's dream match?

So if you have decided to Nike, would you really not consider/think the above? Decisions, decisions ...

Not so related song,
